Is this retreat for women only?
Yes, this container is curated for women to connect in sisterhood, vulnerability and intimacy. If you are interested in a retreat for men or a coed experience, contact Lori to let her know! If there is interest there, she will offer one.
What is Windy Goat Acres like?
Windy Goat Acres is a magical property nestled in the beautiful “Bohemie Alps” of Iowa. The semi-wooded property features hiking trails, hammocks, aerial silks, a campfire pit, and plenty of animal friends including llamas, goats, peacocks, potbelly pigs, and horses. Just 5 miles away is Otter Creek Lake, a recreational park for fishing, kayaking, and swimming (we have 2 kayaks available). It’s the perfect balance of activity and tranquility – ideal for both adventure and meditation. Check out their Facebook page for photos and more information.
What should I pack?
We’ll send a detailed packing list before the retreat begins, but essentials include comfortable clothing for movement, layers for evening ceremonies, a swimsuit for our cold plunges, journal, and anything that helps you feel connected to yourself, your soul and helps you feel comforted.
How many people will be at the retreat?
Lori intentionally keeps her retreats intimate, with a maximum of 12 participants to ensure everyone receives personal attention and support.
Is there a payment plan available?
Yes! We offer a 2-month payment plan to make this investment more accessible if pay in full isn’t your vibe.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Our chef can accommodate most dietary needs with advance notice. Please let us know your requirements when you register.
I'm not very spiritual/haven't done much energy work. Is this still for me?
If you feel called to this experience, that’s all you need. Lori meets each person exactly where they are and provides the guidance needed for your unique journey.
What are the rooming arrangements?
We offer both private and shared accommodation options. In shared rooms, we ensure that men and women only share rooms with others of the same gender for everyone’s comfort.
Is this an alcohol and drug-free experience?
Yes, this is an opportunity to experience deep clarity pulsing through your cells and the resulting expansion that holds your new timeline and identity.
No smoking on the property or within the group experiences.
What are the accommodations like?
With several options, you have the choice of creating your unique experience! The bathhouse is separate from the cabin structures. Each structure has a unique and artistic vibe. They all include a small kitchenette. The shared accommodations include the yurt and little cabin.
