Vanlife, The Adventure Allens Create Life Their Own Way

Episode Summary

Chris and Taylor Allen are an absolute delight!  They totally radiate love, joy and positivity, even after experiencing some devastating tragedies very early on in their relationship.  We dive into the pillar of their strength together, how they navigated life-threatening hospitalizations, the ways that vanlife has supported them throughout those experiences, vanlife community and diversity and how they leaned into the learning curve of living small and mobile.  We also get to hear their perspective on diversity and representation for people of color in vanlife and how it has evolved and progressed.  They share exciting ideas for supporting others through caravans for representation, an inclusive Ebook about how they’ve done vanlife on their own terms and a developing tour guide business in the works for them.  Seriously, we have such a ball in this episode!  As my inaugural vanlifers for the podcast, I feel immense gratitude we made this connection.  They have such love, openness and beautiful wisdom, there are many areas to draw from in this conversation!

Chris and Taylor also gave us some fantastic vanlife tips and tricks.  Click on the link in the show notes below to receive this free download!

Everything is an Opportunity!

A guarantee in this new heart-centered and raw way of living.  Every single thing that happens, especially the gut-wrenching, sudden emotional upheavals and changes, is an open invitation to soul growth and revelations.  Of course it would be much easier to recognize if it was only those free energy flowing everything is on track and high soul vibing situations, but this is where the good, I mean the REAL good ground-breaking growth comes.  In the uncomfortable moments of sudden energetic assaults and the very real reaction and integration work you do with it.  And quite honestly the work you are willing to do to choose yourself.  Something we have not been conditioned with in a wounded culture.  This is where the true shifts happen as we ascend in our personal evolution and divinity.  And let’s be real, that automatic fear-filled reaction has been playing in a loop for WAY too long.  Here we are y’all.  We are in the deep multi-dimensional shifts and the veil to our very real magic is more accessible than ever.  So if you choose to be conscious, if you choose to drop in, know that ascension does not mean we will cease having these heart-breaking human experiences.  BUT…  it does mean that you will break that old pattern from an unconscious conditioning.  And it does mean that you will have supreme support in creating the reality that you are ready to live in.  Yes, you might need to release some stagnant energies that are not changing with you.  And you may be re-acquainting with those energies down the line when you are all in more alignment.  There are endless possibilities when you allow for growth in yourself and your community.  What I can say is when you release the old paradigm of living from scarcity, competition and fear, you will never lose anything.  You might release some things that will free you up to grow at a greater rate.  And making that choice will come from a deep knowing in your heart.  It will come from love and not reaction.  And when you adopt this belief truly in your being, you will move more into your soul’s calling, you will deepen relationships even when you release them, you will re-member that everything is infinite and you are connected to a much bigger universe that holds you and gives you constant opportunities to create a new energy for everything.  And that is when you will truly awaken to the very real truth that every interaction, every connection, every decision and everything is an opportunity to go deeper in this precious and short life.

Pro tip:  DO create the habit of clearing energy, moving energy and working with energy to get the most of what is happening in your life at any given time.

Let’s do this.

Quarantine Real Talk

Quarantine Real Talk

Episode Summary

Today I decided to have candid conversations with several colleagues about their thoughts on the Coronavirus and Quarantine.  This comes in the fourth week of physical distancing.  I wanted to get a feel for how people were moving through their process, personally and professionally.  I just thought it might be good to be a little more informal and vulnerable and raw.  We get into the mental process of the changes, financial fears, explorations of types of grief we may encounter, the environmental impact of a worldwide shut down, acknowledging the need for change in a system that is not supporting it’s citizens, listening to mother nature and so much more.  I want to be clear, though, that these conversations are opinion-based.  Although we are all healthcare professionals, we are not siting studies or data.  We are expressing human experience and thoughts.  I invite you to be curious in your reactions so that you can continue to uncover your own truths in your process and thank you for joining in ours.

Show Notes:

Awakening Your Life Force. A Look at my Pelvic Floor Workshop, Surf Lessons and the Power of Retreat.

Episode Summary

My guests today are four beautiful goddesses I had the pleasure of sharing retreat space with in Oahu, Hawaii in February 2020. We will begin with the retreat inspiration and organizer, Nancy Bell.  After we chat with her, we will talk with the other workshop leader, Deb Gleason, where she shares her workshop inspirations.  And then, Liv Ensign, a surprise last minute guest and my long time friend.  As you can imagine we get pretty lively in our convo as travel buddies and lovers of laughter.  Lastly we will hear from Ange Arbuckle, the host of the retreat in her beautiful space in Hawaii.  Every guest shares their transformations through this sacred time together, what retreat means to them and also how they experienced my retreat offerings of pelvic floor awakening, along with learning to surf for the first time ever!

Show Notes:

I am fresh off of participating in the expansive Exposure Retreat 2020 on the beautiful island of Oahu.  I brought my Awakening Your Life Force pelvic floor workshop that I couple with surf lessons, which support re-igniting to your supreme essence and divinity.  The workshop piece was a full day of meditations, visualizations, recalling your power, emotional cellular memory education and techniques and pelvic floor education and self-care techniques.  At the end of the day we all participated in a fun dynamic motion exercise class and then eventually got our surf lessons on.  We will be hearing from four of the seven women about their transformations through my workshop and surf lessons, but also about the sacred shifts they received throughout our time together.  We will find out how profound these shifts can be when women come together in full transparency, vulnerability and support of each other.  Let me tell you, it was one of the most profound experiences I’ve had in a retreat space.
