We will be getting down with Ben Harkins today where he gives us insights about finding his funny, using meditation for mental health, the  puppets that are ruling his world, the perks of Portland’s comedy scene, what persistence in the pursuit of passion can do and so much more. Stick around to hear snippets of his standup and have some witchy oracle card fun with us!

We will be talking about how Kandyce August found her funny, the support that paved the way toward her pursuing comedy and how she flows geographically.  We will find what’s at the heart of comedy for her, if she’s ever bombed and how that shapes her performance, the true meaning of joy in comedy and so much more!  This is a series I have started because I truly believe in the power of laughter and I am in awe of the vulnerability comics embrace as they offer up that part of themselves to spark joy.  A series of raw, unfiltered stories that tap into the path to pursuing the comedian path.

We’ll be hearing the unfiltered thoughts of the beautiful growing expansive minds of two of my favorites from Generation Z. We will dive into their perceptions of the current political climate, our climate change crisis, mental healthcare, gender identity and so much more!  I want to hear about their passions, drives and desires as they are coming of age in this technologically driven, politically divisive and sometimes fear inducing nation.
